“We needed a service that shared our operational philosophy. So much of our value is tied up in our ability to deliver quick and seamless solutions, it was a waste of our resources to deal with a group that was not dedicated to our needs,” explains Kevin. “I was tired of fighting fires that were almost always 100 percent preventable. “We were presented with an opportunity to provide managed services to a large company which required a robust set of IT solutions which ended up being more than 50 customer servers and a shared SAN. Carried over a dedicated line to the Naperville, IL managed server center of ANET Internet Solutions, the data reaches Winix's co-located servers for sending via T1 lines to Winix.s South Korea office in Seoul. The same real-time data populates the trading platforms Winix develops and provides for professional trades of Futures products. WINIX also redistributes a wide variety of financial data feeds to financial websites and online financial brokerage firms in Korea.

In the business world today the Internet has become an essential communication tool to collaborate with traveling employees, vendors, and customers. We have tried many Internet Service Providers (ISP's) in the Chicago land area over the last decade. Ranging from the small mom & pop shops to the largest national providers we were continuously experiencing service disruptions ranging from hours, to days, and even weeks in some cases. It seemed as if nobody could deliver basic bandwidth, much less extended services such as Directory Name Services (DNS), Email, and Web.
We were sure happy to have found ANET Internet Solutions. Since switching services over to Anet our downtime has simply disappeared. ANET has been the only provider that was able to deliver an operational, automatic, and complete backup solution to our T1 through dialup ISDN. Since switching to ANET there has been a couple of T1 failures due to problems at our local telephone providers switching station. We never realized there was a problem (as ISDN took over) until ANET called us to check on it. Sure makes us wonder why we put up with waiting on hold for so long with other ISP's.

The IAMB started when ANET was just beginning, and as a new company, they were responsive and looked to find ways to meet our needs. If there were any challenges, ANET addressed them and we moved on.
